I stopped at Cobra Tactical in Valencia the other day and they have tactical clothing. I only looked briefly but it seemed to be decent quality.

I prefer Tru-Spec, a little more comfortable. Pockets are the same on both sides

+1 for Tru-Spec... Botach has 24/7 on sale two for $60... I bought a couple pair, excellent quality - plenty of pockets & super durable... http://www.botachtactical.com/tr24pa665por.html (and for the Botach haters, I've bought shytloads in the past several months, never an issue).

Thanks for all the input, ordered 5.11 stuff with one day shipping from LAPG and wow I am stoked. Got here bright and early this morning, perfect packaging of what appears to be great quality materials. Lovin' it.

Once I started wearing the 5.11 Short, I never went back. I don't think I'll ever buy any other short.

The 5.11 fit me poorly. It's probably my crazy long torso and short legs, but 5.11 doesn't work, for me. Check out Vertx pants. I bought a couple pairs to try out for work and so far I have beaten the hell out of em and they keep coming back for more. Very comfortable, lots of pockets and doesn't scream tactical, like some pants.
