I left a revolver in one of the many extra drawers in my kitchen once.. It got found by a guest real quick so I don't do that anymore.

Gram I like your mantle it reminds me of my fathers house In LA. but for some reason every time I go to visit there are always XMAS Ornaments still on it from December. I guess Mom forgets to put them away until someone mentions it.

Wow, I just noticed that I was still wearing my old mp3.com badge in that picture! By the way, that - including the H&K t-shirt - is how I used to dress going to work, just to piss off the liberals.

My house was quiet (12:40am) and I was reading this thread... Then I get to CALI-gula's post about his safes. I laughed out load and probably woke up my wife and kids. Thanks a lot!

                Which brand safe is that?

Actually, that's my grandparents' old place - I used to live there until work made me move (when factory downtime's valued at $1 mil/hr, they tend to order sysadmins to move to within a 15-minute drive to work as an unofficial term of employment)

How much does a setup like that run and how thick are the surrounding walls? Ever think about putting a normal door in front of that just to make it blend it when guests are over? That is if the vault door was more recessed.

No, of course not to either! What do you think I am, a hill-billy?

My car is parked in the front yard, on cement blocks, high enough and close enough that I can open my trailer's window to reach into the car and open the glove box!

They are fine in the fridge or freezer just vacuum seal them first
