Years back a friend of mine bought for $5000.00 2-1 of a 1000 3200 consecutive SE#erd Remington shotguns from a supposedly reputable NY dealer. They packed in the factory hard case. They had AAA beautiful walnut hand checkered stocks. When they arrived the stocks were switched out to plain stocks so he sent them back. When they arrived back to the seller the barrels were sticking out of the box and crushed. By the ins photos you can see a fork lift tire track on the box. After a state to state ordeal and a shady dealer it was a hassle but he finely got his money back. The ins adjuster said next time you purchase a high dollar item ship it with in a 5 working day window because if it sits over the weekend the chances of damage goes up considerably. From then on my buddy had everything 2 dayed.
