    Read Laidler!

    Cheers
Laidler's writing is definitely a very informative and interesting read, I will surely have to re-zero once I take it to longer ranges. I will have to go to a range in the LA area to get it out to 400 yards to re-zero as the factory did and learn to shoot at closer ranges with the 400 yard zero.

I found a few articles on the T as well as PDF copies of its blueprints. I will order his book in the near future. I will admit that I am very new to military surplus snipers, so this is all a very good learning experience.

Unless youre going to be shooting a lot of long distance stuff, just zero it at 100 and if you happen to shoot farther, just hold high. My stuff is zeroed for 100 since that's all I can shoot

You can zero at 100, just account for the higher impact on the target. My scoped K31 and #4 are both zero'd for 400 yds with a higher impact accounting for the higher trajectory. You need the range tables that show you the height above the target at 100yds.

What is your cold shot like after a warm barrel zero?

I'll have to get back to you on that one. I am going back out to the desert with some family this Saturday. I ordered Laidler's book on the T, and the buttstock is not coming off.

              Merry Christmas everyone.

                      MJ,
So far I have been compiling and condensing information about it, and researching it's details. I have tracked down some accessories, such as scope caps and a correct sling. I am still waiting on my copy of Laidler's book. In the meantime, the rifle rests in its rack I made specifically for it.

I have also ordered a variety of ammo to see what it likes best, and will toy with a handload if I am not satisfied with the results.

A great adventure so far and will have a showdown with the 91/30 PU next weekend
