I've actually seen another YouTube video where a dude loaded it like that. He was paranoid and said that one time he wasn't really paying attention and managed to hit the bolt locking block and it slammed forward on his finger.

Ive never seen anyone load an SKS like that. I didn't know you could do that.

Is that why he had the errant round eject by itself on his first round? Throwing them in loose maybe stacked them weird.

          Maybe.

I think his finger just moves faster then the gun can. My SKS trigger feels like trigger on a caulking gun. Its slack, then it goes to gritty, then it creeps, sticks, goes mushy then breaks.

          Negative sear engagement too.

I had all my SKS triggers worked over by Kivaari.....no more crazy long, stacking, gritty unpredictable breaks.

I was wondering about the rounds popping out as well.....I have seen SKSs bump fired without that happening. I have also seen an (illegaly) modified full auto SKS shoot just fine with no live rounds ejected. I don't think you can be "too quick" for the SKS, I know it is capable of full auto fire when so modified.

And no, mr ATF man, I don't know who the douchebag was. Just a yokel out for a good time in the woods...I didn't see the need to ask for his ID. He was, after all, armed.

This is all I need it to change my mind about selling my paratrooper and Norinco SKS.

Ive considered sending the trigger in. Its low on my list right now though.

Jerry is like a magician, he can pull the trigger before the bullet leaves the barrel

Watch his old record break attempts from the 90's. Check out his speed loader reloads. Its like sleight of hand

The spike bayonet makes a great improvised monopod-best 74 dollar rifle I own.

Jerry's a pretty cool dude. Him and Hickok45. I'm definitely gonna try to load mine like that next time. Never seen that.

I couldn't think of two better 'elder statesmen' for gun culture.

I'm going to try and load mine from the bottom too.

I cant spell Michaliek so I'll call it 'jerry loading'

I couldn't figure that out either.

And he was making a big deal out of it. He's never done that before.

That is an interesting way to load the SKS. I've never seen anyone do it that way before. I'll have to give it a try and see how it works out.
