    I think it's important for people to see the amount of work you put into cleaning up your C&Rs, and how some TLC can turn a "meh" looking old gun into a beautiful collector's piece.

      Is the top of the breechblock also marked to Enfield, or is it a BSA or LAco conversion?

        It's marked as a Mark III so it is a purpose built Enfield Snider rather than a conversion.

              It looks like the shotgun shells worked for you. That's great and should make it much more affordable to shoot. How was the accuracy?

                Accuracy wasn't too bad. Was getting 3" groups at 50 yards off a bench. I think these came out to about $.89 a shot.
