    Mine had the aftermarket thumb slide release when I bought it. The first thing I did when I got home with it was order the stock slide catch. The aftermarket doesn't look good with the CZ-52's slim lines.

      I got it out to check what looks like an "X" on the right side of the frame, the "X" on mine is actually crossed Swords in front of the number 54. Any idea what that means? There are no punch marks in the top of slide, which supposed to indicate something I think.

          Mines, black. By previous post information, it was a military arsenal refurbish.
