        Not really in this case. If you perceive the value of an SKS to be worth $1800, then I perceive that you're on crack.

            Heh, oddly enough shortly after that comment I found a deal on GB that may make me eat my own words. I wouldn't really consider this one to be a steal, but a better than average price on a brand new shotgun. Still going back and forth about whether or not to buy it.. never bought online before and not being able to inspect it in person makes me kinda uneasy.

              I thought the same thing, and everyone says so.

              Then I was reading this

              Scroll down to the section on Russia. He is basically saying that the letters match up with letters used on other small arms and ammo for corresponding years. Probably just a coincidence.
