    Bound Book Reccomendations

03 license showed up in the mail today sans information packet which should arrive later. I know about making copies of the original, but I'd also like to know if anyone has any advice on a quality bound book to purchase or system to use.

I just found some pages online. I created a book of them and have been using that. there are several different pages you can use so just find one you like with the the required info. someone will post some links if you are lucky. good luck it will hurt the wallet though.

One of ATF's definitions of "bound book" is "an orderly arrangement of loose-leaf pages"

I do the pages in Excel, and use a 3-ring binder, with the pages of the "bound book" itself in front, and divider tabs for each gun in the back. Each entry in the book has a divider with all the supporting documentation for that gun, receipts, FFLs etc.

I'm liking that idea as I can easily print the pages with photos and have everything typed.

I use the old excel template from surplusrifleforum. When I need to add another page I just print one off and add it to the back of the portfolio.

I made this one and you are free to print it out and use it if you want

I designed it to be printed on a printer that does 2 sided printing.

Start by printing the whole file.

Add pages by printing pages 3 and 4.

For your last page you may want to just print page 3 to leave the back page blank. Of course if you do print on the back page it will be easier to add more pages when you need them.

                Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Plus, printing pages is just about free, and my binder was also free, had it in a box of crap I brought home from one of the times I got downsized. I think it had my employee handbook in it, or some other useless crap.
