      Dammit. I hoped to find out if my FR8 made a muzzle flash like that with the flash hider off but I couldn't find anything to aid in its removal when I was out shooting. 7.62nato out of a 17in barrel, I can only assume its fireball will be pretty decent.

        My son was using a Canon 70-200 f/2.5L lens on a Canon 60D. The exposure was 1/800 sec at f/8.0 with ISO set at 400. The challenge, of course, is to get the flash without losing detail. Anyone can use a long exposure, but the clarity of the image will suffer.
