I've watched this seller for some time. Unless I'm mistaken, he does a lot of shill bidding. At least, the same buyers seem to bring up the prices. I could be wrong, of course, but the pattern is the same I observed on Ebay in its early days (before they managed to crack down on shill bidding).

The 26th Series is the last batch of the Kokura Type 38 rifles. The highest known make is around 70K. This one appears to be in great shape and is all matching. Soooo, it's not your typical run of the mill Type 38...but...
That said, this seller and his gray blanket are notorious for achieving unheard of prices. Also, I might add, I've seen him sell at least one Arisaka that had an incorrect arsenal marks on a stock. Did he do that himself or did he sell someone's "enhancement"? Does he have shill bidders or an enthusiastic flock of repeat deep pocketed bidders? He does turn up some nice, rare items on occasion.

He has a 1909 Argentine carbine made by FMAP for the National Gendarmies and that thing hasn't even reached $350 with one day left.

                    Shill bidding, lol.

I once chickened out on a gun I was selling on Gb with a very low reserve and had a friend bid it up - I ended up paying for it, and paying the GB fees - I don't think I quite got the shill-bidding technique right - although I gave myself good feedback.

Setting a reserve I can live with and letting the Gods dictate the rest is less stressful.

He clearly has some very nice things edged up against some run of the mill, but well described goodies.

I know i have three or four favorite sellers whose auctions I watch and bid on regularly, so I guess you can have "followers."

Tell me you got your hands plated in gold!!! lol

That's pretty funny actually. Ole' Larry even knows his blanket is the rabbit foot to take with him.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of prices was he asking if you recall?

I did not really look too close at his prices as i know they are ripoff and Tulsa is overwhelming. He is known as the weasel by many vendors. He has annoyig habit of being in way and pawing through your stuff during setup time.

Guy I know got deal from him at Louisville national gun day. Wife sold it while he was gone so she probably messed. I enjoy seeing his followers getting fleeced. I have never shill bidded or asked others to do so I feel it brings bad karma.
