I like shooting all of my C&R rifles equally. Yes, the SKS is cheaper so I can shoot more rounds without feeling too guilty, but since I am to reload for all my rifles (except the SKS) that helps keep the cost down. There's just something about the feel of the old rifles that makes every trigger pull worth while.

If I feel guilty about shooting a rare, expensive firearm, I film myself shooting it - makes me feel better -

i bought my first C&R a big 5 mosin the same week i bought a savage axis in 223. I new right away i was hooked on C&R cuzz all i thought about for the 10 days was picking up the mosin. the savage was a great starter modern bolt rifle but it had no charm like the WW2 mosin. i shot the 223 about 3 times and sold it for more C&R guns.Comment

I don't feel guilty but there are some guns I own that don't go out much due to not wanting them getting messed up. My SVT-40, 1927 M28 Ski Trooper and 1933 M27 in early configuration come to mind.sigpic

Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
