          (page 145 D) cartridges, small arms

          packaging requirement : ORM-D

          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~
          49 CFR 172
          (c) The marking ORM-D is the certification by the person offering
          the packaging for transportation that the material is properly
          described, classed, packaged, marked and labeled (when appropriate) and
          in proper condition for transportation according to the applicable
          regulations of this subchapter. This form of certification does not
          preclude the requirement for a certificate on a shipping paper when
          required by subpart C of this part.
            I chose the first option because there was no polling option for "brown recluse" .......
            ... The liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:
            * Creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
            * Satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
            * Augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
            * Rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government
              Will UPS retail stores also refuse delivery in everyone one's opinion?
              I guess I answered my own question. I shipped some linseed oil from garand gear to my local UPS store and it had a ORM D tag....
              Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!
              The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
              The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)
                Linseed oil would have the "ORM-CONSUMER COMMODITY" label not the "ORM-D CARTRIDGES, SMALL ARMS" label, so it might not get as much scrutiny from the employees of that "The UPS Store".
                  Also: hard limit of 60 (or is it 70?) pounds including all packing materials. Found that out the difficult way -- had to go home and re-package into two boxes.
                    66 pounds (30kg). Any more than that and you loose ORM-D status and revert to HazMat, division 1.4S "explosive".
                      I have a question and this seems like a good place to ask. Since I can't ship to LA city...could I have ammo shipped to Pico Rivera? Would some vendors still reject that?
