mosin target match JULY 28

a few of us have been thinking of putting a mosin match together. so here goes.
place west end gun club [ lytle creek private gun club] not the other public lytle creek range farther up the road.
time 8-9 AM Sunday july 28
Membership not needed, one time guest 10 bucks

how about 3 classes
1. mosin with scope
2. mosin without scope
3. all other military wood and steel rifles.. M1, Mauser etc.
lets keep it simple, bring your target [ target frames provided free]. we will take over about 5-7 stands all to ourselves and have some fun. lets keep score but no awards. surplus magnetic ammo friendly range. we will be shooting at 100 yards. do not be intimidated [ i am not a great shooter myself]. i am not a great organizer so lets keep it simple and FUN. all surplus rifles welcome. but m-44 and m 91-30 with scope one class and one same without scope.

sounds good to me. this is not a public range, each member can have a few guests for 10 bucks each. if a pack of non members show up and only me as a member somebody might have to buy a 1 year limited membership for 50 bucks. they are pretty lax on this, one time i brought 4 guests without a problem. this range does not fill up. so i think they will be happy to get the 10 bucks each. go to their web sight for MAP. this is a very well run range, you will like it.

Sunday morning, July 28th there are 2 matches scheduled in the back ranges. This is normally where we reserve bays for Annual members who have more than the three guests allowed by club policy. Applications to start this process are available at the Main Range from our range staff.

However, in your case, this will not be helpful for you on the 28th. The range staff has the authority to solve issues like hosting more than the 3 guests per Annual member policy at the Main Range. Using/renting 5 lanes on the rifle side of the Main Range for a few hours on a Sunday morning is possible, however we need more precise information in order to try and accommodate your needs.

The total number of shooters and guests, how many are Limited or Annual members, etc. Please get back to me with this information, a contact phone number and time to best reach you and I will call you to go over your options.
