    Identify this!!

    I need help identifying this rifle. I have no idea what caliber it is and what make and model hope you guys can help me out.

    Chooped up Spanish Mauser from my best guess.

    More pictures of the reciever would be nice.

        That was my gut instinct as well... might be a 7mm

          something like that, looks like a small-ring 98 action so likely 7mm and south-American of some persuasion. top of receiver would really help.

            its either 7mm or 8mm, spanish by the look

              If it were mine, I'd cast the chamber and slug the barrel to get an accurate idea of what I had.

                Didn't they all so convert some of the spanish to 308.

                    Yes they did. The FR-7 and FR-8. It is possible that is what the pics are of. Better pics of the receiver would be of greater help.

                              Well TRAP forgot to mention is that many of those rifles were converted to 7.62 NATO after WW2.

                              So chances are that is a converter.
