How long did it take you guys to get a tracking number or shipping confirmation? Took a full day for my FFL to send over his info. Hopefully by Tuesday theyll send me something stating it shipped. Btw These rifles look good.

How do they compare to the Service/field descriptions from the CMP?

Just from the pictures, the metal wear looks not bad, certainly within Service Grade specs. However, over the last year, all 6 of the service grades that I've ordered from the CMP have had less finish wear.

Although, the stocks on these rifles look much better than the stock on my CMP birch equipped HRA.

Looks just slightly more worn than my SG H&R.

Personally I can wait for the CMP, but this is mighty tempting.

And the stock looks way nicer than the birch.

I am in the Far East Bay (I live on Bethel Island) I know I could find it for $50-$75 if I drive in toMartinez but it still bugs me to pay that fee on stuff like this - it would be one thing if the fees were reasonable like a PPT but dealer transfers are out of line - I know they have to make a buck but come on - I buy a lot from my local place - if they had the guns I want at a good price I would buy but they never do -

I'm about 5 minutes from Bethel... cheapest place for FFL services close to us is Tracy Rifle and Pistol I believe. I had them handle two K31 rifles that I bought a few months back, and they were great and very reasonable.

I've also had Brentwood Armory handle a couple that I bought from Mitchell's, before I knew about the Tracy shop, and they were nice folks and close but quite costly.
