I would LOVE to get a CZ-52, but unfortunately the supplies have dried up.... So I guess i'm stuck with just the old battle rifles. I must say that that alot of these old rifles reach WAY out there and are fairly accurate for such old items.

    good luck

I picked up my CZ52 at the last Reno gun show. Bore was a bit dark but cleaned up okay, and a new barrel isn't much anyway. I've had it to the range twice so far, and, while it's fun to shoot, I haven't found much accuracy yet. I'm sure my 'groups' will tighten up as I learn the gun - right now I'm all over the place at 25yds.

I've seen CZ52s twice in local stores (East Bay) recently, so they're out there.

Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for it at the Reno show?

Contra Costa Collectibles had one when I went in there quite a few months ago. I seem to remember it being in the high-$200 to low-$300 range. Way too much IMO.

I paid $180, and this was from a private party at the show. Depending on the gun condition, $160 -$200 is probably the correct price range.

While CCC has a good selection, their prices are way too high. I was looking for an SVT-40 and they had two of them....for $1100 and $1400. I ended up getting one for hundreds less than those.
