    I got a SG SA from CMP about a year ago. Almost all parts are SA except the gas plug which is marked NHC as well.

      NHC plugs were a contract part, I think SA and IHC used them. Never seen one on an HRA but who knows,,,,

        very nice, the serial number range might have gone over 6 million but sadly there are not 6 million of these well made rifles out there.

          With the attrition of M1 rifles over the decades I imagine there are many fewer now than at the end of series production and less every year as they are destroyed in many possible ways to include gun buy backs (I hate that term - how about volunatary gun confiscations) which always seems to net a few.

          Very nice rifle. I've had a dozen or so M1s pass through my hands over the years, down to only three now.

            Just shot it yesterday to zero sights with hxp. Love it! Cosmoline EVERYWHERE though.
