My Mosins made me fall in love with shooting. Something about a bruised shoulder at the end of a long day at the range is very satisfying. If I handt picked up my Mosins I may not have bought my 10-22s or my 9 mm carbines. In fact, I spend more time with my kids who love plinking as much as I do. What a feel-good story all because of these big, clunky, cosmoline-caked beauties. Did I mention my shoulder hurts?

First thing I bought was a 12ga, fell in love instantly. Went to the range with a buddy last week and shot his mosin and my shotgun. After the first round I was almost ready to trade him for it on the spot. That giant fireball coming out of the end of that thing as it kicked like a mule has been one of the best experiences I've had. Now I'm going to get one when the prices settle down. They maybe ugly as sin and all but they're fun as hell.
