Ford, I know you are just pulling my leg (no pun intended) as that is what its all about having fun and poking at other shooters. I like your new wheelchair emoticon.

Sounds like there is lots of interest with this open iron class. I just wish there would be a 3rd relay so I can shoot as issued as well.

If that means standard military sights I would love to do that! I wanted to go to the last one, but all I have is an old 91/30 and VZ24 which I've never even taken out.

I have a FN Mauser sporter but didn't think that was eligible.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun.

Our standard class is for "As Issued" vintage military rifles, so you are good to go with either of your rifles. We do have a lot of fun, great group, and we always welcome new shooters. Get the early though, this match filled up and we actually had to turn away some folks!

I might try the military Open Iron class.

          I've got a Swede CG63 (actually a Husqvarna M96 in a cg 63 stock), a CG 80 and a Finnish 28/76

          A couple of FSR M96's

Also have a couple of 1903 diopter sighted rifles...

          Remington, Springfield and Rock Island

A K31 with the W+F diopter and one with a Swiss Products Diopter

Haven't shot any of them at the match because until now they were in the same class as the scoped military target rifles.

Doh! Wish I would of known. The way everyone was talking figured all you guys use 1903 and Mauser sniper rifles as the standard class!

I'll look forward to the next one.

Steve, nice rifles. In the unlikely scenario that you decide to part with that CG-80 let me know. Maybe we can trade for a rifle I have?

Thanks, Juanito...If I ever decide to sell the CG-80, you have the right of first refusal !

                  Outstanding!

Also would like to remind people with the sporterized ex military rifle that in addition to no magnums, FMJs and APs, there is a speed limit of 3,000 FPS on the silhouette range due to damage to the targets.

I'm thinking that we should have a little side action going on....maybe a ten spot each, top shooter collects???

That sounds good to me as long as we don't get arrested for illegal gambling.

I've wondered how that thing shoots. It has a fantastic and smooth action.
