A gun is a gun and eventually they are coming for all of them. Not one inch.
You are right. Acceptance of even incremental gun control measures is wrong. The entire anti agenda is to nibble around the edges and kill the 2A in small bites. By the time it gets down to an all out ban, the legal guns available will be so limited already that it won't even matter.

      That's what I believe as well...but I enjoy C&R and EBR equally.

Just as my father will pass his firearms to me, I want to be able to pass mine along to my children someday. This isn't just about us in the here and now, it's about the future and we're on the front lines. What we do now matters tremendously!

Oh, and nice rifles! When are you going to take a full family photo, Bobby?

C&R, EBR, PBR... I love them all too. I have one more SKS (PAP 59) in the queue and then I am 'done' for a while, at least until I find a Romy. I will get them all together for a meet & greet and snap a few shots for the sake of SKS pron.

P.S. I am also thinking long term. I will be passing down a significant slab of 2A pie to my young'n and kinfolk.

Did you miss the thread about the Romy SKS's up in Sacramento? It would require a transfer, but if you're really after completing the collection, I think they were asking $450 for them...which in my opinion is a bit steep, but I haven't researched it.

The guy to contact is "backstrap"

There's also a fellow looking for a trade, but is valuing at $550

I did, and I exchanged a few PM's with Backstrap. $450 + shipping sight unseen was outside of my comfort zone. $450 local and I can examine what I am getting ahead of time...maybe.

I pretty much got all the C&Rs that I wanted this year myself.

Unless I fall for a Springfield. Uh-oh, why did I think about that? Jeez. Now I will want one.

This year started out with a bang for me but then quickly tapered off as I finally got into reloading. In fact one of my C&R purchases kinda pushed me into it, 6.5x55 Swede.
I picked up an M39, two M27's, an M1891, two M1895 Nagants, a Romanian TTC, a Springfield 1903, a Ljungman, I finished a repro LT K98 sniper, and a (modern) Henry Big Boy in 45 colt.
I also Picked up (all replicas) an 1847 Colt Walker, 1860 Colt, and my wife got me an 1851 Colt Navy for Christmas.
Last year I had big plans for 2012 and most of them I got. I dont have big plans for 2013. Maybe a few more M27's (cant have enough!). I definatly will be looking for a Vaquero and maybe some more C&R handguns out of state. I see JG has Polish Tokarevs for $199!

I had a great 2012 even though I did't start getting anything up until Aug.... 7 - 8 Mosin 91/30's , then a couple of Mosin 91/30 ex-snipers, then a couple of 91/30 PU Snipers, An M44, Some C+R .22's, One M39 ( really like it) and now I would just like to get a Rusian SKS and I would be pretty happy. All in all though a good year ... even though I almost died in a motorcycle accident on the 605 fwy at the beginning of it. I also got my 5th degree Black Belt and lost my job of 17 years ... but getting my FFL 03 finally brought in on home for C+R collecting. Really a strange year all in all ... the Chinese have a saying/curse .. " May you live in intersting times " ... Hmm intersting
