    According to Wideners:

The Yugo SKS is CA C&R eligible and they will send it to CA FFL03's

Shipping for 3 long guns is around $37.

And my Tula is a shooter, definitely has a refinished stock because it is blonde, but it is really nice looking too.

I think that in C&R, there are collector/purists, then there are those of us who like to shoot them and appreciate a nice looking, reliable rifle with some history, even if the rifle may not be historically accurate. I will not Bubba any gun but I have bought some slightly Bubba'd C&Rs like my '53 Hungarian M44 that someone put sling studs on and painted the sling ferrules. It is semi-Bubba'd but a nice looking rifle and will hopefully be a good shooter (taking it out for a shoot tomorrow for the first time). I still think I can sell this rifle for the same as a historically accurate Russian M44, because not everyone is a purist.
An ideal rifle should be like the ideal woman: Rough and tumble, ready to play hard and get dirty; but can still clean up nicely and look pretty for social gatherings.

Would'nt it be nice if Cal-Guns had a section just for the SKS? And in the begining of this thread, as some of you realize, that IS a cut down version of a 59/66 as other have also mentioned. You new collectors I would suggest, you need to do your homework on the SKS so you don't get burned. By the way, anybody want to go in on some ocean front property in Arizona?

People need to check out the threads more closely before repeating the same subjects. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=654397

C&R eligible is not the problem, the issue is are they 50+ years old.
Did you specifically ask them if they were 50+ years old?
Just don't want to see people here get in trouble down the road.
