I used an old drill a dowell rod and bore paste along with the bronze bush and a very fine (stiff) nylon brush. I also use about a million pads with simple green and a BUNCH of other cleaning solvents.

I'd also look at www.theboxotruth.com... he has a cleaning section under the education tab.

for cleaning i use shooters choice. but if you want to polish that bore and improve accuracy, then you need to order david tubbs final finish kit, load it up, and shoot it out of your rifle like the instructions say. my groups went from 2.5" at 100 yards to .75"-1" on my mosin nagant 91/30, plus the bore does not foul up as much as it did before, and its a lot easier to clean. this only works on non chrome bores.

I'm surprised not to see 7.62x39.
My Yugo SKS is a non-chromed bore; so it would be appicable, I'd guess.
