    Log Book Question

I'm thinking of sending one of my C&R guns to a GS OOS. Do I need to log it out of my BB to the GS and then log it back in when they ship it back to me?
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I don't think so. Are they repairing it? If so, then no, because you are still the owner.

Yes, you have to log it out to the gunsmith. You are transferring possession. Ownership doesn't matter.

I read somewhere that you did have to list it and then put it back when you have back in your possession. Makes since if you get audited and they don't see it in your collection.

So, if you take the gun to an local gunsmith (no shipping), does this still apply under the "other disposition" wording?

If you leave it with him, then yes.
