    Hello,

Locally, I'm seeing some laminated ones for around $175.

    Nothing special about them.

Of course, the people at that store smoke crack before they price things... or so I've heard. Box sports store.

this seems a little pricy, but this is certainly a neat mosin for sure, the sights alone make it neato

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Even though supplier might be running low or out right now, another few cargo containers will arrive in the states soon. There are still millions in government inventories just waiting to be sold to the stupid rich tankers.

Wow! A pristine, all correct, and all original Westinghouse U.S. Model 1916. It'll be interesting to see how much that one goes for - If I hadn't just bought a bunch of 1911/1911A1 .45's, I'd be throwing handfuls of $100 bills at it.

No NKVD stamped Mosins, but if anyone is interested I have a replica NKVD "Dynamo" D2 Zeiss-GECO scope and mount setup for sale. The "Dynamo" shooting organization was part of the notorious NKVD, and trained their snipers....after all, not all shots can be made at close range to the back of the head with a pistol. Occasionally mass murder calls for some long distance shooting.

The D2 snipers were based on late dragoons and very early 91/30s, and used a Zeiss Nedinsco Zielvier scope on a GECO (Gustav Genschow & CO.) designed mount, the design of which was later modified into the PEM siderail mount. Original NKVD Dynamo snipers are among the rarest Soviet sniper rifles, only a couple exist in museums in the former Soviet Union and several in restored "ex"-sniper configuration (using these replica scope and mount setups) are known.

This scope and mount setup is in new, mint condition, and is one of only a handful that were made several years ago (on special order by Gunboards member Dmitry "Feldscher", a former Soviet citizen who knew the right people to contact and work with), using the original pre-WW2 German tooling, equipment, and patterns that the Soviets stole after WW2, in one of the former Soviet optics factories originally set up by Zeiss in the early 1930's to make the Zeiss designed PE and PEM sniper scopes.

This is the last one of these scopes available (all others have been used to restore NKVD Dynamo ex-snipers or build up period correct replicas), there are no others out there, and no more of these setups will ever be made.

I want $625 + shipping. If anyone is seriously interested (photo porn collectors please don't waste my time) I have photos.

This is an ultra-rare and historic WW2 era Soviet sniper scope and mount setup that would guaranteed have the people who make the rules for CMP vintage sniper competition scratching their heads (which are up their azzes) and shaking them while going "no, no, no" because it isn't a Weaver K4.

Those are nice. I remember when laminated stock 91/30's were very scarce and the first ones cost in the $350 range. I bought one - a 1933 Izhevsk - for $235 thinking I was getting a good deal and that I better jump on it before they were gone forever, as happens sometimes when something rare shows up and you are not quick enough....actually, I bought it mainly for the stock, which I planned to use on an ex-sniper restoration. Several months later they started showing up in quantity priced around $120. At one point they were down around $90, but I think they are currently back up around $120 or so. Maybe if I sit on mine long enough I can get my money back out of it - like the people who paid $500 for a Soviet SKS when the very first ones were imported, then watched the price drop to a low of $90 right before BJ "Blue Dress" Clinton stopped the import of weapons from Russia and China.

Today at the Paradise Gun Show in the Veterans Hall, I saw a guy with a crate of 91/30's, most laminated stocks for $165. There were a few solid stocked ones for $135. Most years were 1938 and 1942, all Ishevsk receivers, all refurbs.

I bought this M44 at the Ventura Show today http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=639425

There were a few Mosins floating around the show, nothing eye catching other than this M44 I bought and it is a little bit Bubba'd with a varnished stock and black painted sling ferrules. But a beauty. But yes, overall, I did not see a lot of Mosins today at the show and I saw zero laminated 91/30s.
