We called around to our normal suppliers for crates and out of stock was the norm. I noticed most onliners are out of crates also. Start the frantic just like the Mauser you guys finally bought em all. Great.

Today is the day! Find some crates online. Most of the usuals are out. If you don't have 10 mosins your retirement is shot.

I would guess several hundred thousand, possibly upwards of a million once you combine all the models.

17,000,000 made there's a million here for sure. People have been buying them for years and years at big 5. I meet people all the time who aren't shooters and have mosins in their closets.

Nah, I'd wager there are several CGer's who have way more than I do, being a broke college student and all that

Depends on the model, but I've paid more than that for a M/N before, and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again for the right rifle.

id pay up to 200 for a rare-ish imperial one. and dont the US made ones already go for more than that due to their relative scarcity?
