Serial# on bottom of stock matches receiver, all BMB or BMR parts? Nice Breda!

Sadly stock does not match but is BMR Marked and has all bmr parts except the bolt.

Looks like walnut not the beechwood that most of then seemed to be. As long as we're sharing I'm digging up my Bredas photos.
On a C&R firearms Forum I was on back in the early 90's when these started showing up one fella had a contact in the Danish Army. This contact, a Capt or something, told him the Danish soldiers liked the Bredas over the Berettas as they felt the finish machining was better.
Mine is in the 10,000 range, towards the middle of production contracts. I had 3 others all it the 8000 range, but those were put together on AIM parts kits and Italian receivers bought through Old Sacramento Armory's "import division - PIMC".

To be honest, I just loved that it was a Danish Garand. Have a strange affection for Denmark, for some odd reason. Would love to have talked to that Danish Captain, hearing his take on the rifles would be incredible.

OK found the Breda photos hopefully they come through correctly. Oddly enough when these first came into the country they weren't C&Rs.
they couldn't "confirm manufacture dates". I went through a 3-4 month process with BATF trying to get a "C&R Determination" on these Garands but was turned down. All moot now as they qualify under the 50yr rule.

Forgot to mention there should be a label in the stock channel serialed to the receiver with the "Zeroing info" on it. It would look something like this image.

That's unusual, I've never seen one with 2 Zeroing Labels! Either one match the receiver?

Can't really make out the number on the top one, afraid of peeling it off to see the lower one. It did belong to a Mr Christensen and was sighted in during april of 1970
