When people say they are "Scots-Irish" they actually mean they are descended from "planters", basically protestant colonists brought in to civilize the country after the Jacobite rebellion.
Why you'd ever think a Scottish person could possible civilize anything is beyond me

They must have gotten a good deal on those I'm dutch and as soon as there's a good deal around we tend to be all over it, details then matter a bit less... 
Would like to know more about this though, born and raised in Holland, lived there for 30 years, never heard of them (and it's a small country). Assuming that you are able to read Dutch take a look here...They must have gotten a good deal on those I'm dutch and as soon as there's a good deal around we tend to be all over it, details then matter a bit less...
