Go to Simpsonltd.com, they have the best selection, are the most accurate with their descriptions and have the best customer service. Call, ask for Floyd.

Many people rank the K11 as the least accurate of the Swiss rifles that can safely shoot modern 7.5 Swiss ammunition (G1911, K11 and K31). In addition to having the shortest barrel length and sight radius, the K11 has the lightest barrel profile.

IMO, for accuracy, try the G1911, which is the long rifle version of the K11 or the K31.

Every Calgunner I have ever read a post from that owns a K31 has nothing but unabated love for the gun. You guys have convinced me, I want one. Just have to wait until early next year to see how the job situation pans out.

The thing you forget with inexpensive C&R guns like this are that not only are you paying at least $300.00 to $400.00 for a decent one, you are probably going to want at least 500 rounds of ammo so you have a reloading base of clean brass to work with. Adding another caliber to my arsenal is not appealing but the unique beauty and accuracy of the K31 is overriding that concern for me.

I have a Garand, a 91/30 and I want to add an M38 or M44 and a K31. That will be a nice little C&R collection with some variety.

I am not overly enamored with mine. It is a good gun. Very well made. But not spectacular. They are well made, but also heavier than many other rifles from that time period. I picked one up because I collect rifles. Not because it was a must have. And no, I am not selling it.

Btw guisan is the go to guy for info on these rifles on many other boards.

I wonder how much ammo the Israelis had for these rifles.

If you have a C&r you can get a nice "special select" for 289 and a case of ammo for 250ish
