i found my Romanian 1955 M-44 at a pawn shop for 269 bucks. i had to refinish the wood but the metal and rifling were mint. a C&R will get you one much cheeper. i do not have one and California is going to ban them in a year.

California is not going to "ban them in a year". Where in the world did you come up with that?

my bad, a local gun dealer told me he would not be selling guns after 2014. because of changes in calif law. HMK enterprises. a regular seller at our local gun shows. please enlighten me. thanks and sorry for the lame post on this subject.

it appears aim has them for 170$+shipping which i think is typically 30$ or so....EDIT Scratch that....sorry didnt realize it was out of stock

I got one from SOG a couple weeks ago that was in nice condition. I think it was $180-190 shipped if I recall right.

Maybe your local "gun dealer" does not have a 01FFL. This is the law that starts in 2014. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=399849
