NEVER SHOOT THE PINK STUFF! (the pinkish hued boxes)

There is some bad TOK ammo still floating about. Buyer beware. No Bulgy, ever.

          Pol is pretty good.

Think they mean; the cheap stuff has dried up. Remember when Tok ammo was 4 cents a shot? Those days are long gone.

A little more than an hour to go on this one of only three listed on GB

              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I did order a Yugo Tok from AIM on 8-14. $216 shipped. (Includes 2 mags & holster). Also ordered 13 boxes Privi ammo from Cabelas $199, (on sale w/ free shipping on their CC club). This morning I added another 2 spare factory Yugo mags from Wideners for $28.50 each out the door. Add another $80 or so for tax,DROS and Transfer.
Aside from the fact that I am $570 in the red and nothing has even been delivered yet, I am pleased with the price on this package unless the pistol is in a lot rougher shape than I expect it to be.
The Yugos seem to be showing up in really good condition according to talk in articles and forum comentary I checked. The only real gripe I find is the cost of mags.
I did not pay the $20 for hand pick.

I don't have my 03 , can I still have my local gunstore order one for me like they would any other handgun?

Also the surplus ammo I've found online is designated "bi-metal jacket", but doesn't say if its lead or steel core. Can anyone clarify this for me?

Aim Surplus and J&G sales allow you to purchase the firearm and will send it to your local dealer. They need a copy of your dealer's FFL before they can send the firearm.

Ask your dealer if they will send a copy of their FFL and how much they charge for the transfer.

I just got one at J&G and saw quite a few more - they are all in excellent condition and the price can't be beat - $219 + tax and you can go home with it that day.
I can second that...the Romanian Tokarev I got recently is great. Made in the 1950s, but looks brand new (except for some slight wear on the bluing around the corners). Trigger is nice. Just can't overstate how happy I am with it--totally exceeded expectations. Either the Romanians could build and take care of guns, or I happened to get one from some supply officer who shoved it in a desk drawer the day he was issued it, and left it there until he retired.
