You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

Wow...they look nice from the pictures, but...$580 + shipping....

For that much, I'll spend $230 for a good M91/30 with "The Boltman's" turned-down bolt and a Jmeck Weaver scope mount. Then I'll add a Redfield Revolution Accu-Range 3-9x40 for another $170. That's $400 total, with better optics.

That leaves about $200 to buy ammo or (even better) get reloading components to roll my own.

I know, collector and all, but I don't buy safe queens. I buy firearms to actually fire in their actual intended environments, in this case, out in the woods to possibly harvest a deer or other game animal for food.

I'd love to, but it would not be the most responsible addition for me at the moment. Hopefully some generous person might let me try one some time though.

And you would have a cobbled together rifle, compared to an original military sniper rifle.

I wish AIM had these when I got my PR Repo from SOG.

If that were the case, you'd be buying a Remchester at Walmart.

This is a military rifle, not a hunting rifle.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

                That's crazy . . .

Bought my ex-sniper about three years ago for $89.99 at a gun show in PA, just looking thru the crate of mosins the guy had and found it in there.

                  ex-sniper ≠ sniper.

It was $89.99 with a numbers-matching PU Scope, PU Scope mount, and bent-bolt?

                    Wow...That was a great deal!

got a tula and an izhevsk on their way. Happy to pay 100 or 200 more for something that was actually used in the great patriotic war, a rifle that was used to hunt some 'invasive species' with... So there's your hunting rifle...
These guns are 'strong like bull'; have yet to come across a posting of someone who broke his/her PU.
