    Just Picked Up My CZ-82

Ordered the California package (VG condition) from J&G. Have not stripped and cleaned yet but happy so far. Albeit, the tight holster. No way that thing ever snaped.

    Here are some pics

Beautiful! I love the CZ-82's, very comfortable pistols. Did you get hand select?

No, not sure they offer hand select, at least that I saw.

hey I'm ordering 1 in june when I get my c&r , so did you have to go through a ffl01? or is it possible for my 03 to ship to my door and then register?

^ No, you can't have a C&R handgun shipped to you. You should go there, buy it with your 03FFL, bring it back and send in CADOJ registration with your check for $19. That way there is no waiting period and no 01FFL involvement.

Depending on what you are driving, and unless you plan to buy multiple guns, it may be cost prohibitive to drive out to AZ by the time you factor in gas and lodging.

It cost me an extra $100.00 to have it go through my local 01FFL.

With that said, I will likely stop by J&G and every other place I can find as the wife and I make a cross country drive this summer.

Plan ahead. Google guns, pawn, sporting goods, etc in every city you plan on being in for a while. Call and see if they have "old" guns in stock. Don't ask for "C&R" guns a lot of dealers think you are only looking for cheap mil surp stuff.

Have a great trip and be safe.
                    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

There is actually a smart phone app that uses the ATF FFL database to map out every licensed dealer's premises relative to your current location.

Be careful with this though, since many of the results will be residential addresses of home-based dealers that work by appointment only (and probably don't have a ton of C&R guns stocked anyway). Still, it may be helpful on your road trip.
