Its is a little better than Iranian. There were some really bad years of Turk ammo. Mine is 1942 and it is great. Only had one non fire and about 20 split cases out of a 1000. Like people where saying, if you are not going to reload; get some of the Romanian ammo in the tin. Its good stuff, less grains, (less kick) and it always go bang. IMO

Wollf spring.............you can still shoot those "duds" once you replace it.Originally posted by Kestryll..you're kind of a sad excuse for an attorney...Originally posted by Libertarian777...Don't pick either side....Comment

If you reload, pull the bullets, dump the powder into new case with new primer and seat bullet.
Its the primers that are the problem. I have done almost 450 rounds in the past like that after I bought that crap.Comment

Seems to me that about 30-40% of these issues (double/light? strikes) can be cured by simple cleaning of internal bolt parts, polishing firing pin/spring wear/ma\ting surfaces, and checking firing pin protrusion.
Short "too Little" firing pin protrusion can be easily corrected by machining a few .001's" off of firing pin stop shoulder.
Seems everyone immediately goes to the "Replace firing pin with heavier spring" mode before performing a simple maintenance procedure.Comment
