    C.O.E.

Hey guys, I'm sure this on here somewhere but I am extremely lazy. How do I go about getting a C.O.E.? I have my 03/C&R already. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Now, bear with me here as I am still a little fuzzy on this COE thing, with a COE and 03/C&R together.......Will I be able to buy C&R handguns at either gun shows or gun stores? I'm not planning on buying alot, but it would be nice to have...

if you have both, you can buy a C&R handgun from a dealer (either at the store or at the gunshow) and "cash-and-carry" it. You will need to pay the DROS (and the DROS is submitted) but you do not need to wait the ten days.

You will be able to buy any C&R firearm from a CA dealer and go home the same day with it. You will still need to DROS the firearms and pay the fee.

You will also be exempt from the 1 in 30 rule on handguns.
            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Just make sure you print out the info off of the CA DOJ website regarding the COE + C&R no waiting period to show skeptical dealers. Or have them call the DOJ hotline. I have had a few dealers call the DOJ to verify because they were unsure and didnt "trust" my print out that is directly from the DOJ website.

Now you can have all sorts of fun. Nothing like walking out the door with 8 handguns the same day, I actually felt like I was in a free state for a few seconds
