C&R Confessions

I have a confession to make here, just needed to get it off my chest. I have owned my only Mosin Nagant, a hex receiver made in late 30's, for about 2 years now and I've never shot it. Thing is I don't know why. I want to shoot it, it's my only MN, I have ammo for it, a whole spam cans worth sitting there amongst all my other ammo. I've gone to the range many times since I bought it and cleaned it up, so it's not like I haven't had the chance to shoot it. It's just I've just reached for other things in the safe when heading to the range.

But that's not the end of it, I also have a late model K31 that I've never shot. I don't feel as bad though about that because it's not my only K31. It's just that when I do grab the 7.5 ammo, I grab the one rifle and not the other. They sit side by side in the safe so it's not like I'd have to dig further for one than the other.

Does this make me a bad person? Any way I can atone for my sins? Anybody else have a confession they want to get off their chest?

The m1 garand my grandpa gave me is a piece of ****. matching receive and barrel from ww2 is there but he tried to rebuild it with crappy replacement parts. I'll update my thread on it once I find the missing parts, we'll see if I have to replace anything.

I have yet to shoot my Mosin as well, and most of my other guns, but that's only because I've had them for a few months. Give me time. I will have to say my one confession was that I...I...only went the range once last year.

Hell I will take the k31 swiss and put it to good use. I got a few boxes of 7.55 itching for some k31 love. lol.

But seriously you should plan an off day and take all your babies and just have fun at the range. You feel so much better and feel some respect about these old C&R guns

I have a Mix master 91/30, a Turk Mauser, a Styer M95, Yugo M-48, and a No.1 Mk4 Enfield that I haven't shot yet

Forgive me Calguns for I have sinned, I totally have the OP beat. I have 6 c&r's that I haven't shot yet cause Iono how. I just clean them and stare cause I think they're pretty. I'll learn to shoot rifles someday soon. I've only been shooting for less than a year and feel more comfortable with my handguns. Plus I have no firearm enthusiast friends to go to the range with to teach me how. :/

I'm gonna guess from the name, icon and sig that they are a female. But I may be wrong. If they are Appleseed has discount rates for females and sometimes female only shoots. So even more reason to go!

I know. I tried to register last time they were at the castro valley range but they were all filled up. Ill be there next time... and yes, I'm a girl.

Out of all my C&R's I've only shot one. I have more than you so don't feel bad at all.
