No worries. Just take your time and think things through. Stay positive because getting frustrated won't fix anything. These things can handle a lot of abuse, so you're very unlikely to break something. Now take it apart and put it back together again!

This happened to me before on one of my Mauser bolts. Its a very common thing and quite easy to fix but its scary as hell when it happens to you for the first time.
I recall I had purchased a Tanaka Kar98 airsoft rifle for an extraordinary amount of money and after cocking it a few times the bolt locked up on itself the exact same way that has caused so many owners of real Mausers problems. This Tanaka was such a faithful reproduction that I have no doubt that going about fixing the bolt the same you'd fix a real bolt would bring it back into normal operation. However I was so inexperienced at the time and upset for having spent so much money that I returned it.
Probably for the better though because that refunded money went toward my first real C&R rifles
And the rest as they say, is history!

there is an indent on the switch for the safety, just push down hard again and make sure that back piece lands on it. i just put mine back together myself for the first time.Originally posted by Kestryll..you're kind of a sad excuse for an attorney...Originally posted by Libertarian777...Don't pick either side....Comment
