I hate our government. Why don't they just make an online application that does an instant background check, and either approves you or not, which then emails you your license to print out?

Because we keep cutting the budgets of people who work for us to give somebody who ain't me another damn tax break. Don't you know that's how job creation works? Hiring a programmer to make that web application? That's not job creation.

I sent my 03 app in 10/10, was charged on 10/18 and just received my license 12/16. I had spoken to an employee that said they were averaging 60 days currently - so I guess they were on target for mine.

I second the feelings about the crates of MN's; the warehouses are not bottomless, and the Motherland can no longer force her people to make more of the glorious Mosin for a ruble.
