Wallmounting a mosin...

It's a Mosin, nail it to the wall. I would go with a couple old square cut nails right thru the sling slots.

Or.........get two 91/30 bayo's and start pounding!

Take a walk along some rail road tracks and pick up a couple of those rail road spikes. That would make a cool mount.

Why disable it?

Couple of reasons:

1. the bore is garbage, the rifle was a parts gun anyway
2. even if it was capable of firing a round, I don't want it getting stolen during a break in or something. My guns live in hte safe
