    My P-38!

Finally able to post some pics of my 'new' P-38. It's an AC45 B block with an FNH barrel. All numbers match ('cept magazine), no import marks. I've fired it a couple times since its arrival...used standard pressure rounds. Accurate, fun to shoot, reliable through around 200 rounds. Always wanted one...

Congrats! Now there's a gun I'd feel guilty giving the tactical-Crayon treatment to on the slide.

Nice. I'm still looking for a nice AC or BYF 43. Some day.
                  Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The P38 and it's bros (the P1 & P4) just seem to shoot far better than they should with very little weight out front and a pretty crappy trigger, yet the always seem to hit the target. They only run good with FMJ ammo, so no SD ammo.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Around 300 for the post war variant the p38 p1 with alloy frame and parts. The war p38 with all steel frame start around I think 400 for an ok russian capture. On up with matching non captures running in the 700 market. There a great gun Ive been wanting one for a while.
