These are the exact drawings I followed, guys! Notice look sharp the angles were to keep these things safe. Compare before drawings to the dotted line drawings and the shaded areas. They convey, to me, that the new relationship between all the parts is perpendicular, almost 90 degree angles, allowing for a smooth sliding action without the binding feeling of the factory setup. Again, I did this to 2 Mosins and they work great! . . . just light and smooth.
