Looking at a CZ-52 It is in mint shape withy org park

I came to this site when I joined as I had friends who live in CA and there were asking me questions.
    So I lurked and read. I also know a few guys from Car boards that are members here so please give a New Orleans Louisiana Boy a brake {we need guns here too! They should check ya at the airport for a gun slash knife and if ya do not have one issue you some}
Has orginal 7.65 x 25 barrel that is ok, not pitted, or dark but just ok. {IE} It will end up not cleansing up brite and new looking
Looks like there are some deals on new good ones but wonder what is the best source / price
But has a 9mmm Barrel that is mint and brite
I know they are known to have trigger slap. Is it more of a problem with the 9mm than the 7.65 x 25?? Way to get rid of it?

I plan on Hand loading the 7.65 x 25 with Brass cases, boxer primed with Cast 32 acp bullets as i do for many many guns. I also have some 32acp bullets for a French WW2 gun that would be the right weight.
I can basic make what is needed up and have everything on hand to do so.
So wonder if the 7.65 cal will end up by the way side down the line?
So looking for Opinions one what to look at when I see the gun Has Mint 9mm Barrel and great finish but the Original 7.65 x 25 is not so nice

    So give some opinions Please

Shoot it before you get too involved. These guns are neat little pieces of engineering but have some quirks that can really be a turn off.

    1. Heal release. This magazine release system really blows and my gun will not freely drop magazines.

    2. Rollers. The barrel slides along on rollers that can get warped over time and will need to be replaced.

    3. Firing Pin. The firing pin can become brittle if dry fired. There's a company out there that sells improved firing pins.

    4. Slide catch. There is no external slide catch/release. There is a flat metal bar on the side which can be manipulated to hold the slide, but it's a little tricky to manipulate.

    5. Sights. Very basic sights make accuracy kind tricky.

That said, I like mine even if I can't shoot for beans with it. The design alone makes me really like the firearm. I've never had any issues with trigger slap, but the trigger on mine is very heavy. I bought a 9mm barrel for mine and while it shoots OK the magazines do not feed well. In my case the last round of a magazine will always fail to feed and I'll have to drop the magazine while holding the slide open to get it out(not easy with that stupid heal release).

First off the caliber is 7.62X25 not 7.65.

These are great guns. Like Rekrab said shoot it first. Have fun with it. It;s good to see you have the 9MM barrel. 7.62x25 ammo is getting more expensive everyday. You will probably find yourself shooting; and reloading, the 9MM more than the 7.62x25.
      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The extractor was designed for the Tok round. It works for the 9mm round, but has been known to have some problems - they are not always easy to find, either.
