Just saying it takes a few rounds to "get things going" from going from a cold clean bore and then one that's been fired a few times. Did your groups just open on you?

The groups got progressively worse as the session went on. Could have been the barrel heating up, could have been me getting tired, could have been what you describe. More range time is definitely needed.
