    J and G sales question..

So first off I have to start with a very big thank you to all of you guys (and gals), if it wans't for calguns I wouldnt even have known what an 03 ffl was and how easy they are to get!! So now that I have that out of the way. I'm planning on making a trip out to j and g sales to pick up a few new things, a cz82, p64, and maybe a p38 and a nagant revolver to go with my ex dragoon mosin. My question to all of you is do we get any discount as an 03 ffl and can I just walk in with my c and r and leave with my new guns or do I need to do it a different way? Thanks for taking the time to help.
    Mike

Not sure about the discount but they have to have your license on file before you show up in person. Mail it to them a good week in advance and you'll be ok. Don't forget to include your contact information when you mail it.

J&G doesn't offer any discount to C&R holders. Yes you can just walk in and buy any and all C&R guns you want, and walk out with your new guns.

I walked in with my 03FFL so new that the ink hadn't dried yet. You will need to bring copies of your 03FFL and I believe they will want to see a DL that matches your license address. They will need to verify your 03FFL then they will process the sale. I walked out the door with a 91/30 and an M1895 on my first visit.

No discounts for 03FFLs, but being CA friendly more than makes up for that. J&G & many others do offer discounts for multiple purchases, their website shows that pretty clearly.

Prescott is a beautiful city and the area around the Courthouse, Whiskey Row, has some great restaurants. Enjoy your trip.

Everything will be registerd as the law requires. So do I need to mail my 03 in before I go or can I just walk in with it?
And in under 30 minutes my question was answered you people are awsome!

I'm in Palm Springs if anyone wanted to meet me out here and go with me I'm game for that.

I walked in the door and told them that I had a new 03FFL and it would be a shame to not use it. They verified it and I walked out poorer, but happier.

It wouldn't hurt to just call them and ask if walking in with it is OK, could save some frustration.

One of the reasons they don't give any discounts is because their prices are already as low or lower than some "wholesale" companies.
                Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I walked in with mine without pre-mailing it as well. Worked just fine. Address on your ID does not need to match the one on the 03. I just did my browsing and picking, walked up to the counter, handed them the 03, handed them my cash, and went out the door about 15 minutes after I walked in. Including browsing time. Cool place but it bums you out to see all the stuff you can't buy there.

I emailed J&G and offered to send them my 03FFL. The reply was to do it in person and make sure to bring proper ID. I walked in with an unsigned copy, my driver's license, and a credit card. Walked out with a K31 and 4 boxes of ammo.

You should have taken 2 CC's

I would mail your 03FFL before you go. It gives them plenty of time to verify your FFL ahead of time. Ask to look at as many items as they will allow, to get the best quality. Don't forget to pick up some ammo. There is a 10% sales tax.

My J&G Sales-related questions usually are along the lines of:
                          -"Do you do payment plans?"
                          -"Can I put 5 battle-boxes of GP11 on layaway?"
-"Are you hiring, and if so, is there an employee discount?"

I visit their website regularly and have quick question. Would it be possible to drive there with a Bullet button and 10rd mag, buy an AR, have them install the BB and switch the mags and ship the gun to my FFL? For the prices that I see stuff on their site is pretty tempting to do that.

They will not do that. They know about our laws but some of them scare them. They are a very large dealer and have BATF in the store almost on a daily basis. I ask them this very same question every time I go out there to buy guns and ammo.
