I was reading my new issue of G&A and read that they have a sister publication called "Surplus Firearms". Has anyone seen it before?

I have bought it also. It was good reading. It was worth the price.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

G&A usually had an article regarding a certain C&R type weapon in every issue. Surplus Firearms was just a reprinting of those articles - at least in the late nineties.
I had a friend in Kentucky who was collecting them, so I sent him the early ones I had, like issue 1, 2 and 4, I think, to him.
Good luck finding them.Comment

Well it must be a limited printed magazine. I stopped by the big Barnes & Noble store at the Montclair Plaza and they couldn't even find it in their computer system.
EDIT
I was just over at Amazon.com and they show it as a single issue magazine and are asking if people want to sell their copies.Last edited by morrcarr67; 06-10-2011, 4:21 PM.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The "Surplus Firearms" series of magazines is a great pictorial reference. There are some mistakes, however the quality of photos far out weighs any mistakes. The first "Surplus Firearms" magazine came out in 1987 since then there have been at least thirteen additional volumes in the edition. I think I have them all however if anyone has any additional volumes post them up!! The adds in the magazines are also very interesting and contain many great photos.
Enjoy.

I don't have the whole collection only the ones that were of interest. The bad thing about this seris is seems like everytime they bring one out the prices got up on the C&R's discussed in the magazine.
Good info for the reference library though. BBComment
