    C & R app. wait ????

How long should I expect to wait assuming all is ok with my app. before it shows up ? How long was it for you guys? I paid with CC. I will try to refrain from asking anymore newbie C&R licensee questions until I actually have one. Thanks

Depends. With some its 30 days and some take up to 90. My first one took almost the full 90 days and renewing took about 15-30.

Mine went right up to the end, to the point where I thought I would be denied. Apparently it takes longer if you've moved a bunch in the last few years. Between undergrad, grad school, and roommates I've been in 4 places in the last 5 years so I credit my wait to that.

I sent mine out on April 29. My card was charged in 3 days. Nothing from ATF so far. I haven't moved in 9 years, and am squeaky clean, so I'm predicting I'll be seeing it within several weeks (hopefully).

Mine took somewhere between five and six weeks to get here. It arrived last Friday.

Very painless, although the charge was out of the account within two days

I applied around the same time as OHOD and had to re-apply. That re-application was finally approved 3 months later. Altogether, 5 months. Some people go really fast through the system.

Sent mine in the mail on the 11th of this month and saw a cc charge on the evening of the 15th (sunday of all days). Got a call from a nice lady at ATF today asking for my DOB, I guess I skipped it on the app. She said my background check should be done in a couple days and when clear the licence should be in the mail next week.

I've had my CA lic for sooooo long that I can't remember how long the first one took. My renewals have been taking about 3 to 4 weeks.

When I got my NV lic last year it took about 2 months.
                    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
