You should check the classifieds subforum or you can post a WTB ad.
Good luck.Originally posted by jl123I love you. Can I borrow $20?Originally posted by OHODI think I just had an orgasm. -
They come up on a regular basis in the Marketplace forum. The best long term solution is to get your 03FFL for $30 then have them shipped to your door. I can get round receiver 91/30 shipped from J&G for under $95, and about $90 from AIM. Both have been great to deal with.

Just go to Big 5 and schmooze the manager. Tell him how you shop there all the time and how no one is going to buy them until they go on sale anyway. He has the power to give you the sale price at any time.
Then if he doesn't, then just go to the next one, they are everywhere.Comment

+1 I was just there last week and they have a huge selection of refurb Mosins. They even had a Polish M-44 that I thought about buying until I realized the bayo was missing... not so bad, except some dumb***** cut the bayo mount off with a grinder. If you're looking for a shooter and don't care about collector value, that would probably be a great shooter. The stock was very nice and I think it was priced around $130 or so.
Either way, when buying a Mosin it's always nice to fondle a few and get to know them better before you make a commitment, kind of like that speed dating thing.NRA Life Member - CRPA Life Member - NRA Certified RSO - USN Veteran
I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

You need to look often, they go fast. There have been a few posted in the last 2 days, all sold within hours.
It isn't exactly what you are looking for, but this looks interesting:

+1 for RCGE. I've never bought a mosin there, just an Enfield and a K98, but they usually do have a nice selection of mosins, and they aren't that far from your area.+1 I was just there last week and they have a huge selection of refurb Mosins.
