    First C&R

Looking for some input on which of the two firearms I should get first. Either the Yugoslavian Tokarev M57 or Mosin Nagant 91/30.

Either will be primarily for plinking. Right now i'm leaning a little more towards the Tokarev since I know the Mosin Nagants are more in abundance, and I assume it'd be easier to find ranges that would allow the Tokarev over the Mosin to shoot at in the socal area.

Get the Tok. Ammo is cheap and I have only had trouble @ outdoor ranges with the ammo not passing the magnet test.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

        The Tokarev....

Those Mosin's are a dime a dozen (not that the Tokas aren't, but between the two I think the 57 is the better choice IMHO)

one of each? I'm planning to get the a Toka as well, but I have not had a chance to drive to AZ / Vegas yet. Thinking I should pickup my COE so I can buy more than one handgun when I go.

You might as well get both. The Tokarev is defiantly the priority of the two, but you can just pick up a Mosin any time; they are cheap, reliable, and fun. It just comes down to the "why not?" argument; Everyone's doing it......

you need a COE to buy more than one handgun out of state? I thought COE was just an in state thing.....

The COE is just for in state. When you travel buy as many as will fit on the CC.

I think he means C&R 03 ffl. You cant buy anything out of state with a COE.
