Just sent in my c & r application last night

Help a noob, please.
What do I have to look forward to?
How long does it take?
Should I expect a visit or phone call?
Should I wait until I get the c & r to get my coe from kaliforniastan?

C&R

I just got mine in December and it took about three weeks. You won't here from them at all until your license shows up in a letter size envelope. No visits. No phone calls. The information packet takes about another month to arrive from their printing office.

Do NOT sign the license. Put a sticky note on the original and keep it in a safe place. Make lots of copies and scan one and save it as a .pdf file. I signed a copy in red ink, scanned that one too (in color) and that's the one I e-mail to those places that accept e-mail copies.

You can apply for your COE at any time as one is not dependent on the other.

As soon as you get your C&R FFL, begin mailing and e-mailing off copies to all the vendors in the C&R Vendor report sticky at the top of the page.

I just got my out of state c&r for washington in the mail, they charged my credit card as soon as they got it, about a week after i sent it out. The license showed after about 3 weeks. Way ealier than expected.
My the license for my CA premisis took a little longer, that was last year. You know, now that i think about, arent you supposed to get an info packet sometime later?? I never got one.

I sent out my app on the 5th of January. I am still waiting for the ATF to charge my credit card. I am starting to think it might have gotten lost in the mail.

I sent mine out on Dec. 29th if I remember correctly and my card was charged on Jan. 3rd. Still waiting to receive the license, hopefully I should be getting it here real soon.
