License renewal?

Has anyone renewed their C&R license lately? If you have, how long did it take to receive your renewal?

Haven't renewed, but if you let it lapse, then refile, you don't need to keep your old bound book. Just an idea.

It took 2-3 weeks. I was getting sorta worried (not too much) because mine was getting close to expiring. Then I got the letter from ATF. I filled out the form (# of guns transferred in/out using license, same address, etc) and paid by CC. New license was in my hands < 3 weeks later.

Mine expires Feb 1. I sent my renewal form in back in Nov, and my CC got charged last month. I'm still waiting for my license.

BATFE should mail it to you a couple months before your existing license expires.

Only took me about 3-4 weeks last July to renew my California C&R.

Update.
I called the BATFE to check on my license renewal status. I was told I was still going through a background check and to call back in two weeks if I do not receive my renewal. The wheels are s-l-o-w-l-y turning.

(Little OT) I sent in paperwork in November '10 for an Address Change and I still haven't heard back *shrug*
